Redic.I use Ansible to retrieve my power usage from my electric utility, store the results in a rrd (Round Robin Database) file, and graph the results in my favorite monitoring program, Zenoss 4.īonus: I overlay the power produced from my Solar Panels with my Utility Consumption to visualize energy usage and compare my results to their billing. This company would much rather have less employees and work them like crazy than hire enough people and get the job done right and on time. They are penalizing their employees also who make the buisness all b/c they tried to save money but ended up spending more. I also heard they are only hiring temps so they don't have to pay benefits regardless of how long they need help, and they have cut their retirement benefits so people who has been there for 30+ years are retiring early b/c they will get the same retirement amount if they stayed the extra 2, 3, 4, etc years. One of the temps was there for almost as long as I was, she worked her buns off and volunteered to come in on weekends to help out at times, stay late, came in early and never got recognized for her dedication, how can a company keep someone that long as a temp and not hire them permanently? Luckily I found another job who appreciates me and I will never work for them again. They would have employee events and we would NOT be invited to any but we worked just as hard as the employees and half of them didn't cost them a dime but we were treated like nobody's.
We should not have been penalized for their budget issues. They then took away all the students/temps benefits and cut students hours with very little warning.
They purchased a new software and being cheap not to purchase the whole program, they went over budget. I worked there as a student for over 4 years. I agree about the poor advancement opportunities.
